4-bedroom home with mountain and ocean views in Brackenridge Estate

Orchid house is located in the secure Brackenridge Nature Estate, which is manned by guards at all hours. From here to town or the beach it’s only a five minute drive. This beautiful estate is full of indigenous trees and plants, an abundance of birds. Occasionally you can even see tortoises and buck. This safe environment is ideal for a family holiday where kids can ride their bikes and hike through the fynbos and indigenous landscape.

This house was designed and built to perfectly meet the needs and desires of a family holiday. The double story house was created in a way that allows two small families to comfortably share the space. The bedrooms are spacious with en-suite bathrooms and come with beautiful views.

There are two entertainment areas inside, a balcony with a view of the ocean and a deck on the side of the mountain. There is a sunlit pool next to a covered veranda. From the pool you can enjoy the panorama of the Plett’s blue bay and the mountains in the distance.

The house sleeps 8 and comes ready to live in with a microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and a full DSTV package as well as free Wi-Fi. There is available parking in the on-site garage.

Rates are per day for the house: Non serviced. An additional cleaning and linen fee of R350 will be charged on your final bill.

Please note a 50% deposit is payable to confirm your booking and the final amount must be paid before arrival.

Arrival time: Please book in between 16h00 and 18h00. Only in special and pre-arranged conditions we will be able to book you in later (up to 19h00).

Cancel 14 days or less before arrival, on day of arrival, during the stay, no show - full payment due

Unfortunately, no motorbikes are allowed in the Brackenridge Estate. Bikes can be left in the parking area at security. You will need a backup vehicle to take you to the house. 

The main objective of the development of Brackenridge Estate is to provide a high-quality lifestyle for residents, and the purpose of these Rules is to protect this lifestyle. Management will take the necessary steps if guests not abide by the rules.

1. USING THE STREETS
Motorists must drive with caution and around traffic circles. A speed limit of 30 kilometres per hour is to be maintained on the property at all times. Vehicles may not be driven anywhere except on the streets of the Estate. All private open space is off-limits. Parking on sidewalks and on the street opposite traffic islands is prohibited. The use of off-road motorbikes and quad bikes are not permitted at all.

2. GOOD NEIGHBOURLINESS
The volume of music or electronic instruments, partying and the activities of Employees should be kept at a generally acceptable level.
No loud parties, please!

3. ENSURING A PLEASING STREETSCAPE
Caravans, trailers, boats, engine and vehicle parts, as well as accommodation for pets, should be sited out of view of the street and screened from neighbouring properties.

4. SECURITY
"Every time you break security protocol and regulations, you are making it easier for criminals to do the same".
All residents, visitors and contractors are required to adhere to access control procedures. Details of access control procedures can be obtained from the HOA. Residents are requested to treat security personnel with co-operation and courtesy. All attempts at burglary or instances of fence jumping must be reported Vehicle registration numbers and the property to be visited may be recorded at the entrance to the estate. Unexpected visitors arriving after 20h00 will be granted access only after telephonic confirmation is received from the resident to be visited. Whenever possible the securities centre at the gatehouse should be advised in advance of the pending arrival of visitors.

5. TENANTS, VISITORS
The occupiers of any property within the Estate are liable for the conduct of their visitors and must ensure that such parties abide by all rules.
