Explore the rich history and ecological wonders of the Diepwalle Forests along the magical Garden Route on foot during a two to three hour walking trail guided by Meagan Vermaas. The trail will take you deep into the indigenous forests of Knysna, giving you local insight into Dalene Mathee and the history of the forest - from the woodcutters and the gold miners to the flora, fauna and forest lore. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed at the beautiful Jubilee Creek at the end of the morning.

Experience a canoeing adventure with a professional guide along the Keurbooms Gorge This full morning river canoeing trail combines the best of canoeing with the local knowledge of the surrounding vegetation, birdlife, marine environment and regional history. A picnic lunch will be served on completion of the river trail. The birding in this area is prolific so keep an eye out for the African Black Oystercatcher and many other endemics, migratory and pelagic. The Keurbooms Gorge has awe-inspiring appeal with many small and secluded beaches amidst the towering gorge dense with vegetation.

Enjoy a half day guided exploration of the Robberg Peninsula close to Plettenberg Bay and the paleontology of Nelson's Cave, before returning for a delicious picnic lunch around noon. The Robberg Peninsula often referred to as the "Cape Point of the Garden Route" is an ancient formation located in a Marine Protected Area and Provincial Heritage Site. This iconic rock formation dates back between 110 and 130 million years when South Africa formed part of a super continent. Humans first inhabited Robberg some 120 000 years ago, with Nelson's Cave providing some of the best fossil records found in the entire Southern Cape

A newly built pump track for riding or trail running connects you with a route up to Harkerville. The new Cape Cross route from Plettenberg Bay to Cape Town is a must for your bucket list. Birds of Eden is the largest free-flight aviary in the world. The sanctuary encompasses 2.3ha of partly forested land, covered by a 3.2ha mesh and criss-crossed by a 1.2km walkway. Visitors are welcome to explore at their own pace, with the use of Birds of Eden’s specialised guidebook. The sanctuary is home to over 2,000 birds of around 150 species, including louries, parrots, parakeets, waterfowl, flamingos, starlings, robins and cranes.
